Equipped with a VNA (Vector Network Analyzer), this system enables automatic measurement of high-frequency characteristics. It can perform measurements such as S-parameters and supports the evaluation of devices and PCBs used in 5G applications. It is also suitable for a wide range of uses, including transmission loss measurement of high-speed PCBs for data centers and detection of back-drilling defects. The system allows direct visual observation of probing points via a contact-check camera and can be connected to various VNA and TDR measurement meters. In a 4-probe configuration, measurements can be performed on both sides of the PCB.
Probes contact with both endpoint of the trace to measure S-parameters.
Probe such as Form Factor's ACP series, is mounted on each arm to make contact at endpoint of the trace.
High Frequency Probe Unit
180° Rotation Mechanism
The high-frequency probe unit features a 180° rotation mechanism that allows probes to be positioned close to each other, enabling measurements across various pad layouts. It supports the installation of a wide range of high-frequency probes, including the ACP series from FormFactor Inc.
